Want to Donate to The Women's Center?

The Women's Center is funded through a variety of sources including
the United Way of Waukesha County, government and private foundation
grants, and corporate and community donations. Donations to The Women's Center support
the free programs and services offered to clients. Services include emergency shelter,
transitional |
living, group and individual counseling, onsite and
respite childcare, legal advocacy, employment counseling, Hispanic outreach, community
education, child abuse prevention programming, and a 24-hour crisis
line.

The Women's Center is exempt from federal income tax under section
501(ac) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and contributions are tax
deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All contributions will
be acknowledged by mail.
In-Kind Donations
The Women's Center and Sister House Shelter are in need of the following
items. Please contact The Women's Center at 262-522-3833 if you are
interested in making an in-kind donation and to arrange for delivery
of your donation.
Non-perishable food and essential household and personal care items are requested. Due to limited storage space, we are unable to accept gifts of clothing, knick knacks, decorations, stuffed animals, used games and toys.
The Women's Center greatly appreciates ALL donations. However, there is an URGENT need for the following items:
- Non-perishable food items
- Women's underwear (all sizes)
- Large size diapers (3, 4, 5 & up, including pull ups)
- Strollers
- Deodorant (both men's and women's)
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Toothpaste
- Mosturizer / body lotion
- Baby wipes
- Hair care products for African American women
As food pantry items are running very low, The Women's Center would greatly appreciate ANY and ALL food donations. If you can make a donation, or if you are interested in hosting a food drive to benefit The Women's Center, contact Amber at 262-547-4600.

*Thank you for supporting The Women's Center! Please note that gifts should be new and unwrapped. Gifts are needed for client birthdays and the holiday season.
Dialing for Dollars - Don't forget The Women's Center when
you upgrade your cell phone! The Women's Center works with an organization
called Shelter Alliance which pays The Women's Center $1 to $10 for every
phone received. The Women's Center also keeps a small amount of phones that
are reprogrammed as 911 emergency phones for clients. Please remember to
clear all personal information from phones before donating. Drop off your
used cell phones at The Women's Center today!
