 Domestic Violence Shelter Support Staff

On-Call positions in shelter for battered women and children. Volunteer, professional and/or life experience with family violence and/or social work, shelter program or crisis intervention experience helpful.

These are on-call positions to cover shifts as needed for a 24/7 facility. Responsibilities include providing guidance, advocacy and support to women who are residents of the shelter and coverage of the 24-hour crisis line. Support staff also assist with general housekeeping duties when appropriate and as needed.

Orientation and training provided. Starting pay: $8.91 /hr. Individuals available 3rd shift and weekends are encouraged to apply.
